Summer vacation in your wallet: CF4 Basic now cheaper
Prices seem to be going through the roof everywhere. But we are rebelling against this trend: the CF4 Basic package is now 10 EUR cheaper. And of course it still includes all software functions, without limits, and with access to many fantastic plugins at no hidden extra cost. Let's go!
We kept the CBACK Forum prices reliably stable for years and have bravely defied the many price increases in other areas of life. As the absence of subscription obligations and full transparency with our users shows, we always make every effort to keep our services and prices fair for both sides.
Now, following the relaunch of our main page and the recent CF4 update, we have been able to reassess the package prices and decided that we are able to reduce the price of the CF4 Basic package from EUR 39 to EUR 29 (incl. 19% VAT). Of course with the same scope of services. In doing so, we not only want to give existing customers cheaper access to update service and plugin database, but also to offer interested new customers a better opportunity to build their community upon CF4 for less than the price of a cup of coffee a month.
The following factors allowed the lower pricing
- First of all, many long-standing regular customers, who reliably renew their packages every year, ensure that we have a good foundation regarding cost planning and income for CF4 development. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for this loyalty, because without you, a project like CF4 and its continuous development would not be possible.
- Furthermore, the high stability of the software allows us to usually release one major update with fixes and new features instead of multiple small updates. Reduced work in the area of package-management is not only more popular with users, but also allows us to spend more time on the actual development instead of constantly putting together packages and writing announcements and changelogs. Accordingly, the working time for updates has become more manageable. Last but not least, our major web relaunch in the end of April, the new store and the new client-panel (and the internal administration system) have also ensured, that we have been able to significantly simplify the accounting effort for package purchases and package extensions. This makes it easier for us to sell the Basic package in particular (without manufacturer support). And of course we would like to pass on these time (and therefore cost) savings to everyone.
